Newage Learning and infoShare Academy have announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership, to create a software coding and cybersecurity learning centre.
The partnership will bring together deep skills in software design, development and deployment, machine learning, data science and IT technology strategy to help support individual and organisation’s digital talent, digital leadership, and digital entrepreneurship.
“The GCC region has some of the most creative minds and our purpose is to uplift this talent and provide them opportunity to learn and grow, creating leading technology products and platforms,” said Sheikha A. Almheiri, chairwoman, Newage Learning. “This partnership will help popularise bootcamp style training to strengthen learners’ skills in app development by focusing on building both technical and business skills to prepare the trainees for practical real-world situations”.

Meanwhile, recently, OutSystems, a low-code platform which provides tools for companies to develop, deploy and manage omnichannel enterprise applications announced that it is expanding its Developer Education Program to close the skills gap in development and technology.

A primary component of the OutSystems push to accelerate its education efforts is a significant focus on communities that have been overlooked and underrepresented in software development and technology. This includes women, black people, and transgender and gender non-confirming individuals, among others. To aid in creating opportunities for these groups, OutSystems has announced partnerships with Women Who Code (WWCode), Blacks In Technology, and the Australian Computer Society (ACS) to launch programmes and sponsorships.
